Charleston, S.C. merchant and plantation owner. He was the son of Nathaniel Russell Middleton (1810-1890) and Margaret Emma Izard (1811-1836). Arthur Middleton was the owner of Daisy Bank, a plantation on the Santee River (S.C.), and other properties.
